Manager, Carbon Solutions
25 January 2010
Our client, one of Asia Pacific’s leading Sustainability and Carbon Management consulting groups, is currently looking to appoint an experienced individual to head up their Risk, Consulting and Compliance business in Australia.
This challenging role has been created as a result of our clients’ ability to expand their business offering in what remains a very tough marketplace especially given the continuing legislative uncertainty. Three key areas will be considered critical for potential applicants:
1. The ability to secure new business from corporate Australia on the back of an impressive and existing network of domestic contacts;
2. The ability to lead, develop and ultimately deliver on an array of projects covering the full spectrum of the carbon and climate change consulting marketplace; and
3. The ability to manage, develop and mentor a diverse team of skilled consultants.
With service areas covering the fields of risk management (carbon risk and opportunity identification), compliance (audit and report management) and future carbon planning, this represents an excellent change to develop your own skills within a market leading group.
The Manager, Carbon Solutions position is a live opportunity that incorporates a thorough handover given further promotion of the current incumbent internally within the group.
This position will be based in Sydney full-time with anticipated domestic and potentially international travel forming part of the team development responsibilities.
